this is me putting my best foot forward for the fine folks at 
let’s begin.
currently, i lead design at Symmetry, where i help large enterprises protect their data at scale.
i'm surrounded by some of the most innovative minds in the field, pushing the boundaries of AI and data security technology.
i’m comfortable wearing many hats - contributing to UX and visual design, but also motion, 3D and even code where necessary.
i don’t like labels. specialist/ t-shaped/ generalist/ podiatrist - i’m none of those. i just like getting stuff done.

after spending the better part of 3 years in one of the most technically dense industries, i’ve become really good at a few things:
Fail fast, fail forward
One thing I’ve come to love about working in small teams is the “ship or die” culture. It’s not for everyone, but I dig it. I see results by doing things fast, and working in the open.
Quality of craft is #1
Delivering great experiences consistently is what makes a product great. Give users a reason to love you and make you irreplaceable in their lives. Set the bar high, aim higher.
Design is the language of tech
Just like math is the language of physics, UX design is the bridge between technology and people. I prioritise learning the language my users speak using a variety of channels.
Do things that don't scale
Small teams are all about maximising efficiency. However, there are always situations where breaking the mould is necessary. I’m not afraid to chase hunches that I think will pay off.
